Annual NACD Directorship 100 list honors Mary Cranston

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., September 15, 2014 –
Mary Cranston, a member of the board of directors of CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, has been chosen by the National Association of Corporate Directors as one of its NACD Directorship 100 honorees for 2014.

Cranston is a former senior partner and chair and CEO of law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLC., and serves on the board of CSAA Insurance Group. She was recognized for her role as a board member of GrafTech International, Juniper Networks, Visa and International Rectifier. The list recognizes leading corporate directors, corporate governance experts, policymakers, and influencers who significantly impact boardroom practices and performances.

The NACD Directorship 100 nominees are evaluated by their performance in four key areas:

      •   Integrity – They demonstrate exceptional ethical standards and accomplish what is best for the corporation and its shareholders.

The National Association of Corporate Directors is a national nonprofit organization with more than 14,000 corporate director members. It serves as an advocate for the profession of directorship and conducts educational programs, peer-exchange forums and research designed to promote director professionalism.
