AAA Arizona and CSAA Insurance Group Receive Arizona Governor's Volunteer Service Award


WALNUT CREEK, Calif., November 3, 2016 – AAA Arizona and CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, have been honored with the Arizona Governor’s Volunteer Service Award, which recognizes the community service contributions of both organizations. The mission of the Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards is to promote an ethic of service and volunteerism and to recognize volunteer efforts that strengthen communities and improve the quality of life for Arizonans.

“AAA Arizona recognizes the crucial role that we can play in keeping Arizona communities healthy, safe, and productive,” said Mary Beth Reisinger, chief administrative officer for AAA Arizona. “We connect our diverse expertise, resources, and time to help improve the lives of those in need, and encourage employee involvement.”

AAA Arizona and CSAA Insurance Group have a joint legacy of helping people, and are committed to helping build healthier, safer, and stronger Arizona communities. Eighty percent of AAA Arizona’s workforce is engaged in volunteering, and 100 percent of CSAA Insurance Group’s Arizona employees volunteer. Last year, AAA Arizona volunteers served at 160 volunteer projects supporting 46 different agencies, including cleanup days at Grand Canyon National Park.

Service and Volunteerism,” said Juleen Rohrbacker, customer service executive for CSAA Insurance Group. “Volunteer service is an essential part of our commitment to serving AAA members, and we are proud to partner with AAA Arizona to make a meaningful difference throughout the state.”

The Arizona Governor’s Volunteer Service Award is coordinated through the Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism, a governor-appointed state entity that encourages Arizonan engagement in service and volunteer efforts. AAA Arizona and CSAA Insurance Group were recognized in the Stewardship category during the Arizona Summit on Volunteerism and Civic Education.
