WALNUT CREEK, Calif., March 3, 2017 – Michael Zukerman, chief legal officer for CSAA Insurance Group, was named a winner in the 2017 Corporate Counsel Awards. A joint venture of the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Journal, the Corporate Counsel Awards honor the San Francisco Bay Area’s outstanding in-house counsel.
CSAA Insurance Group provides insurance through AAA Clubs in 23 states and the District of Columbia, and is one of the top 20 personal lines carriers for property and casualty insurance in the United States. As a winner in the Private Company category, Zukerman was honored for his development and oversight of a solutions-oriented team of legal advisers at CSAA Insurance Group.

Zukerman joined CSAA Insurance Group in 2011 after 25 years as a legal and business development executive with Bay Area technology companies. He provides legal, regulatory and compliance oversight and guidance, and serves as legal advisor to the board of directors, the CEO and other senior executives. He is also a member of the board of directors of the League to Save Lake Tahoe (“Keep Tahoe Blue”).
