CSAA Insurance Group COO Greg Meyer Named to IIHS Board

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., December 22, 2014 – Greg Meyer, Chief Operating Officer of CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, is a new board member of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

“It is an honor and a pleasure to serve on the board of such a well-respected organization as the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. I look forward to supporting their efforts to improve road safety for all of us,” said CSAA Insurance Group COO Greg Meyer.

Mr. Meyer leads CSAA Insurance Group’s claims, policyholder service, product, and actuarial functions. Before joining the company in 2014, he was the senior personal lines executive at Tower Group and president of their reciprocal exchanges, Adirondack Insurance Exchange and New Jersey Skylands Insurance Association.

“Our organization is continually evolving to keep up with ever-changing safety issues and we are excited to have Greg’s expertise help us stay ahead of the safety curve,” said Adrian Lund, president of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Established in 1959, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety is an independent, non-profit organization committed to reducing deaths, injuries, and property damage from crashes on the nation’s roads. The organization is wholly supported by auto insurers and insurance associations.
