The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives California residents certain rights. As an applicant, employee, or contractor, you have the right to know what categories of personal information CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) collects about you and the purposes for which such information is collected.

As used in this Privacy Notice, “personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household. Personal information includes, but is not limited to, the categories of personal information identified below if such information identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could be reasonably linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household.

Note that you may provide personal information directly to CSAA IG’s third party service providers who provide services such as benefits planning, enrollment, and administration, background checks, and website hosting. CSAA IG may receive a subset of this personal information in connection with managing your employment or contractor relationship, including evaluating a potential relationship.

We may collect personal information from you if you choose to participate in workforce testing of any of our products or services.

To the extent personal information regarding your spouse, domestic partner, beneficiaries and/or dependents, or emergency contacts is being provided to CSAA IG please share this notice with them.
