WALNUT CREEK, Calif., March 25, 2016 – CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, recently won a 2016 Leadership Excellence award for its Leaders Development Program. The company was awarded first place in the “best use of simulations” category, which recognizes the top leadership programs utilizing business simulations to reinforce leadership development across their organizations.
The Leaders Development Program offers an integrated set of face-to-face and online workshops, assessments, coaching, business simulations and exercises tied to “real-life” company issues. During the 2.5-day business simulation, each team develops a multi-year company plan. Following each year of decision making, they receive an analysis of their team’s and competitor’s decisions in a feedback session. The goal of these sessions is to link the decisions made in the simulation to the results achieved, and to stimulate ideas for driving leaders’ understanding of CSAA Insurance Group strategy back into the workplace.
