Working hand-and-hand with our customers to manage wildfire risks

Your home is likely your biggest asset and you're smart to learn how to protect it, especially as the frequency and severity of large wildfires increases. You've also probably heard that many insurance companies aren't renewing policies for homeowners in higher risk areas.

We've got good news for our existing policyholders. By taking action to minimize the risk of wildfire damage to your home, you can avoid the potential nonrenewal of your AAA Home Insurance policy due to wildfire risk.*

Specifically, if you secure a Wildfire Prepared Home certification (base or plus level), CSAA Insurance Group has committed that your single-family homeowners policy won't be non-renewed due to wildfire risk and we will renew your homeowners policy for a minimum of three years if you maintain the certification and all other requirements of your policy.*

To help you achieve this designation, we are providing information, tools and resources to help homeowners proactively protect their homes from wildfire risk and keep their communities safe.

*Conditions apply: Only available to CSAA Insurance Group policyholders and all policy conditions must be fulfilled including making payments, maintaining the property, etc. This offer is currently for homeowners of single-family houses in California.

Future discounts for individual mitigation items are pending regulatory review, such as maintaining a five-foot noncombustible zone around the home, or having a Class A fire-rated roof. (Most asphalt shingle roofs already qualify.)
