Supplier Engagement
Supplier Engagement builds strong relationships and partnerships with various business enterprises to deliver on CSAA goals and objectives. Our strategic outreach involves interviewing prospective suppliers at regional and national supplier networking events and sharing important information and criteria about doing business with CSAA.
CSAA executives and team members participate with various national organizations, programs, and initiatives in communities nationwide to provide supplier engagement opportunities. We also use a virtual platform to conduct interviews and promote supplier connections. Potential suppliers may also contact an inclusive and sustainable supplier program leader at supplierinclusion@csaa.com
Direct Contract Supplier Reporting (Tier 1)
We believe we have a responsibility and a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with our suppliers and help drive change in our business and beyond. CSAA has developed and launched a Direct Contract Supplier Program, a partnership between CSAA and its Tier 1 suppliers. We encourage suppliers that directly contract with CSAA as suppliers to utilize an inclusive supplier allocation strategy. We work closely with direct contract suppliers to ensure we have a broad and inclusive network of excellent suppliers that align with our inclusion goals.
CSAA regularly reviews supplier participation data to understand engagement levels and ensure continued progress toward inclusive sourcing objectives and ecosystem contributions. A CSAA program leader collaborates with our prime suppliers to develop annual improvement plans and implement solutions, followed by regular reviews of outcomes. As a result of these efforts, Tier 2 inclusivity plans help advance inclusive outcomes and expand economic impact., and collaborates with them to track and review.
