CSAA Insurance Group Executive Named to 2017 Junior Achievement Hall of Fame


WALNUT CREEK, Calif., March 21, 2017 – Paul McCaffrey, chief financial officer for CSAA Insurance Group, was named to the Hall of Fame for Junior Achievement at the organization’s 30th anniversary gala. Junior Achievement of Northern California’s Business Hall of Fame is an annual induction ceremony honoring outstanding business leaders who have made a significant contribution to the economic and social development of the Bay Area.

“Paul is a dedicated friend of Junior Achievement and we are honored to recognize his efforts and induct him into the Hall of Fame,” said Linda Santinoceto, president of Junior Achievement of Northern California. “His selfless dedication to the pursuit of financial literacy and business education are the hallmarks of a community champion, and truly embody our mission.”

CSAA Insurance Group provides AAA Insurance through AAA Clubs in 23 states and the District of Columbia, and has a long history of partnering with Junior Achievement to provide financial and volunteer support. Last year, 98 percent of CSAA Insurance Group’s more than 3,800 employees volunteered on behalf of community needs, earning the company recognition as one of the top 50 civic-minded companies in the country.

“My first volunteer activity with Junior Achievement took place nearly 20 years ago, and I am honored to work with students to provide guidance in their career journeys,” said McCaffrey. “CSAA Insurance Group is a values-based company focused on supporting AAA Members and the communities we serve. McCaffrey joined CSAA Insurance Group in 2016, and has more than two decades of insurance industry experience. His connection to Junior Achievement began in Ohio in 1999, where he first volunteered as a classroom instructor. He also serves as a board member of Flying Horse Farms, an organization that provides transforming experiences for children with serious illnesses, and the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio, an organization that provides free furniture to families in need.
