WALNUT CREEK, Calif., May 7, 2018 – CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA insurer, has named Cal Hankins as its vice president of claims.
Hankins will oversee all aspects of insurance claims, including strategic planning and site management. He will lead a team of nearly 1,600 claims professionals located in four regional claims-operations centers across the country. He will be based in CSAA Insurance Group’s Oklahoma City offices and report to Bob Valliere, executive vice president of insurance operations.
Hankins most recently served as claims executive for CSAA Insurance Group, and brings 22 years of insurance industry experience to the role. His broad experience in claims and service includes site-operations management, multistate regulation compliance, homeowners insurance, litigation, physical damage and casualty.

Prior to joining CSAA Insurance Group as total loss manager in 2005, Hankins was regional office and West Coast call center branch manager for Amica Mutual Insurance Company. He has a bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior and management from Brown University.
