Tom Troy Honored Among Most Admired CEOs

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Nov. 10, 2022 – CSAA Insurance Group President and CEO Tom Troy is among a select group of Bay Area leaders recognized by the San Francisco Business Times as the region’s Most Admired CEOs 2022.

The annual awards recognize Bay Area leaders who have the vision, values and performance it takes to lead in challenging times. Troy and 10 other CEOs were honored at an awards dinner on Nov. 10 in San Francisco, and interviews with each honoree were featured in a special edition of the San Francisco Business Times.

In Troy’s interview, the Business Times noted that throughout his career, “Troy has returned to the qualities that have shaped a 30-year career at some of the biggest insurance companies: listening, working hard and supporting the local community.”

Further, in discussing his leadership style and the importance of looking beyond the business, Troy said “I don’t think we can just be a business participant, I think we have to be a social participant, to be a community participant, in order to be successful.”

Troy’s vision and leadership have been pivotal in guiding CSAA’s accomplishments across the last three years in support of the company’s policyholders and the communities it serves. He has championed innovation and been an advocate for CSAA’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspirations.
